What does verificationStatus: Pending means when I try to add a new payment method to a store?
When you add payment methods to a store or sub-merchant via the /paymentMethodSettings API, you might receive the responseCode:Â verificationStatus: pending. This response indicates that capabilities are pending on the accountHolder.
Troubleshooting steps
- Log into the Customer Area
- Search for the accountHolder
- Check pending or invalid capabilities.
- In case capabilities are invalid, ask the sub-merchant to provide valid data. If the capabilities are in Manual Review, our KYC team has to review the documents provided by the sub-merchant. The KYC team will review the data within 48 hours.Â
