How can I assist my franchisee with their periodic risk reviews?
Periodic risk reviews
Periodic risk reviews allow Adyen to remain compliant with international financial regulations and reduce the risk related to financial activity. Your franchisee accounts also need to submit periodic risk reviews when requested.Â
This is done through a risk review process that:Â
- Verifies the KYC (Know Your Customer) Data collected during the onboarding process.Â
- Requests customers to update their information.
Your franchisee accounts also need to submit periodic risk reviews when requested. This review doesn’t necessarily occur yearly, so you’ll be notified when you need to perform one. Whether this happens for your account depends on the year of onboarding.
When to submit the review
If your franchisee needs to submit a review, we will notify weeks in advance and you need to follow up with your franchisee. The franchisee will receive an email from Adyen indicating which documents to provide. These documents must be provided within 4 weeks.
Note: Payouts will be paused unless the review is completed within 4 weeks.
If you have further questions send an email to merchant.screening@adyen.com.
