How do I request additional information for Pay by link?

Pay by link has the option for the merchant to request additional information from the shopper on the payment page before completing the payment. These fields include the shopperName, shopperEmail, billingAddress, deliveryAddress, and telephoneNumber.

  • For In-Store Pay by link, any transaction conditions or SaleToAcquirerData in your payment request are applied when the shopper pays with a contactless card or mobile wallet, but ignored when the shopper pays with Pay by Link.

To get additional information information returned in the notifications webhooks, please go to Customer Area > Developers > Webhooks > Click Add or Edit & Test (if it is already enabled) for the endpoint that you would like to make the changes on > scroll down to Additional Settings > Enable include Shopper Details.

In-Store notifications are displayed on the terminal, but it is possible to set up the cash register to receive tender notifications. You can present these on your cash register to keep your store staff up-to-date on the progress of the tender. For example, whether the shopper has selected Dynamic Currency Conversion, or finished entering their PIN.
