When you set up the maximum number of transactions per card’s lifetime, every successful authorisation, including 0-auth, partial authorisations, pre-authorisations and authorisation adjustments, will be counted as a separate authorisation in this transaction rule logic.Â
If you exceed the number of authorisation set in the transaction rule, the card will be suspended and all the upcoming authorisation will be declined.
Full cancellations and expired authorisations will be added back to the counter. However, if the card was already suspended before, it will stay suspended.Â
You can also set up the maximum authorisation amount per card’s lifetime transaction rule. The logic for this type of a transaction rule is explained here.Â
