Deciding between fixed amounts and round up depends on your goal. Round-up donations can increase participation of your customers, even if individual contributions are smaller. Fixed amounts are better for maximizing donation volume for the nonprofit. Providing fixed donation options (usually 3) lets customers choose an amount and can lead to an increase in donations.

Giving also offers custom donation inputs for greater flexibility. This feature lets you test variations and select the most effective approach. We don’t see a higher participation when offering a custom amount to customers.
