Channel conflict and pitching to larger customers
You may run into situations where your users process more than a typical small and medium type of customer or already work with Adyen directly.
If the user already works with Adyen, we ask you to contact your own Adyen account manager, so they can get in touch with the account manager of your user. They’ll help to mitigate the situation and make sure we find a situation that works for all parties involved.
If the prospective merchant doesn’t work with Adyen yet, but is still larger than your typical user, your default approach of selling payments (for instance, selling by offering a blend rate) may not work here. Most enterprise merchants have dedicated finance or payment resources and typically want to work with acquirers directly as their payment setups are more complex and challenging.
