How to create a donation from scratch for ECOM.
We start by logging into the Customer Area. First, make sure youâre on Company Level.
Then, navigate to the Giving menu, and select âCampaignsâ.
Here, youâll see an overview of all your current and previous campaigns. You can add a new campaign by clicking âCreate new campaignâ.
First, give your campaign a name, and select the nonprofit you would like to support from the list. You can either choose a specific cause to support or provide the nonprofit with general funding.
Next, select the channels on which you would like to fundraise.
If a chosen nonprofit is not available, please reach out to your Adyen account manager.
For your online donations, select the merchant accounts on which you would like to activate Giving.
You can then also choose the donation amounts.
If you want your campaign to be active in multiple currencies, you can set different amounts for each currency.
On the next page you will get an overview of your campaign. You can click âSave campaignâ to save your settings.
To start fundraising, click âStart Campaignâ.
Your campaign will start right away if you have finished your integration.
To edit an existing campaign, or view insights, press the three dots.
You are now ready to collect donations.
