How the fraud score works
Adyen performs fraud checks on every transaction to protect businesses. The outcome of these checks is called the fraud score.Â
When the fraud score of a transaction reaches 100 or more, the transaction is automatically refused. You can view a transaction’s fraud score in Essentials:Â
Log in to Essentials
Go to Payments
Find the transaction you’re interested in and view the score in the Risk score column
Your account’s fraud settings are chosen by your corporate company, and can’t be changed.Â
To understand why a transaction was refused by Adyen, we recommend reaching out to your internal company contact.
