Modifications aren’t included in Salesforce Commerce Cloud cartridge
Modification requests like refunds, captures and cancel, aren’t included in the Salesforce Commerce Cloud cartridge. Modifications on payments can be either triggered from the Customer Area or custom implemented on your platform.
