How to create a donation from scratch for IPP.
We start by logging into the Customer Area. First, make sure youâre on Company Level.
Then, navigate to the Giving menu, and select âCampaignsâ.
Here, youâll see an overview of all your current and previous campaigns. You can add a new campaign by clicking âCreate new campaignâ.
First, give your campaign a name, and select the nonprofit you would like to support from the list. You can either choose a specific cause to support or provide the nonprofit with general funding.
Next, select the channels on which you would like to fundraise.
If a chosen nonprofit is not available, please reach out to your Adyen account manager.
For your in-store donations, select the merchant accounts on which you would like to fundraise, and include or exclude specific stores under these merchant accounts.
We offer two donation flows in-store. A one-step flow, where the customer presents their card only once, and a two-step flow where the customer has to present their card one additional time to make the donation.
Select your preferred option.
Do not forget to set the display text that will show on the terminal, as well as the timeout settings which determine how long the donation option will be shown to customers.
Now you can choose the donation amounts.
If you want your campaign to be active in multiple currencies, you can set different amounts for each currency.
On the next page you will get an overview of your campaign. You can click âSave campaignâ to save your settings.
To start fundraising, click âStart Campaignâ.
The donations screen will be effective once your terminals have done a configuration update.
To edit an existing campaign, or view insights, press the three dots.
You are now ready to collect donations.
