This video explains how to troubleshoot terminal connectivity issues on a non-Android terminal.
How to troubleshoot terminal connectivity issues on a non-Android terminal. In this video we will go over one of the most common reasons your terminal is not working. Let’s troubleshoot connectivity issues and its potential and/or temporary solutions. To check if the connection is the problem, navigate to “Settings” then “Diagnostics”, and check both the PSP and Endpoint connection tests. If the tests fail, there are two possible solutions. Option 1… Generate a hotspot on your personal mobile phone. On the terminal you can now navigate to “Settings”, “Network”, “Wi-Fi”, and then choose your personal mobile hotspot and enter your password.
Once successful, check the PSP and Endpoint connection tests once more to ensure a successful connection. This may be considered a temporary solution. Option 2… Enable cellular connection on the device. Check if cellular is active. First, toggle cellular off and on to ensure that it is active. “Restart the device and perform PSP and Endpoint connection tests once more to ensure a successful connection.” If issues remain, please reach out to your network provider.
