How Periodic reviews work
Periodic risk reviews
Periodic risk reviews allow Adyen to remain compliant with international financial regulations and reduce the risk related to financial activity.Â
This is done through a risk review process that:Â
Verifies the KYC (Know Your Customer) Data collected during the onboarding process.Â
Requests customers to update their information.
This review doesn’t necessarily occur yearly, so you’ll be notified when you need to perform one. Whether this happens for your account depends on the year you were onboarded.
When to submit the review
If you need to submit a review, your Franchisor (corporate level of your company) will notify you weeks in advance. You will receive an email from Adyen indicating which documents to provide. These documents must be provided within 4 weeks..Â
Note: Your payouts will be paused unless you complete the review within 4 weeks.
You can find more details on submitting your periodic review in this video. If you have further questions, reach out to your franchisors or send an email to merchantkyc@adyen.com.
