How can I get started with Giving as a Nonprofit
Onboarding Overview
To begin receiving donations, you must complete the following three steps. Thorough documentation at the start ensures a faster screening process and a smoother setup.
1. Submit Required Forms
You must complete two primary components to start our review:
Nonprofit Questionnaire: Details about your operations, policies, and partnerships. This must be signed by a full-time employee.
Customer Area Application: Legal and financial details submitted via your secure Adyen account. (Look for an email from sales@adyen.com to set your password).
2. Screening & Review
Once submitted, our teams perform due diligence. During this time:
Be Prepared: We may request additional documents like ID copies, organizational charts, or tax forms.
Be Detailed: Providing summaries of your policies (rather than just page references) prevents unnecessary follow-up questions.
3. Sign the Agreement
While waiting for screening, review the Merchant Agreement for Nonprofits.
Zero-Cost: This contract formalizes that Adyen absorbs all processing fees (0% / 0 EUR).
Final Step: Once screening is complete, we will send the final version via DocuSign to your authorized signatory.
