What’s an Android terminal?
An Android payment terminal is a mobile, all-in-one device that is capable of running Android apps. Like any other Adyen payment terminal, it supports accepting payments on our payments platform.
How are apps helpful?
Apps can help you use the cash register, check what's in stock, update your inventory, check the customer’s previous orders, and run your loyalty program from the same device that you use for accepting payments.
An Android terminal doesn’t have a connection with Google Play. The apps need to be uploaded and installed from our Customer Area.
