How can I set a Static IP Address on my Terminal?

When to set a static IP address on your terminal

  • If you have an integration with local communications and can't use a DHCP server with DHCP reservation.
  • When using the terminal with an integrated POS so that the terminal always gets assigned the same IP address.

Tip: If you’re using a V400m with a Bluetooth base station, you can also assign a static IP address to the Bluetooth base station.
