How can I block or trust a customer?

Add a customer to a block or trust list

  1. Log in to your Customer Area.
  2. Go to Transactions > Payments, and select the PSP that contains the attributes that you’re interested in adding to your referral list(s).
  3. Expand the Fraud Control section, and select which attributes you want to block or trust.
  4. Select Block or Trust, and select Apply.

Tip: You can also add customers to a block or trust list using API requests.

Review your block or allow lists in your risk profile

Go to Revenue & risk > Risk Profiles > Select your risk profile. You can then view the default rules associated with your referral lists.

By expanding each rule, you can see and edit the underlying referral list.

In the example below we look at Shopper email.

New entries can be added by clicking on “Add item”

You can also automate the process of adding attributes to the block list when they were involved in a fraudulent dispute or notification of fraud. You can do so via Revenue & risk > Settings.
