Why are the funds I sent to Adyen not added to the Refund Reserve?

Do you have the right user role?

Please check whether you have the following user role:

  • Merchant Financial

  • Merchant Admin

Funds above the set threshold

Any fund sent to Adyen above the reserve threshold will be returned to you with the next payout.

Remember the funds are first transferred to your payable batch and then to the reserve. So, if you currently have a negative payable/settlement balance, these funds will be first used to cover the negative balance and will be then moved to the reserve. You can manage the reserve threshold in your Customer Area.
