How can I expire a Pay by Link payment?
Do you have the right user role?
Please check whether you have one of the following user roles:
Pay by Link Interface
Merchant Admin
If you don't have the required user role, please reach out to your admin.
Expire a payment link
Force the expiry of a payment link
To force the expiry, make a PATCH/paymentLinks/{linkId} request and update the status. In your request, you can set the desired new status to expired.
Tip: Find more information on the force expiry of payment links.
Via your Customer Area
- Log in to your Customer Area.
- Select Pay by Link > Payment Links.
- In the Payment link column, select the payment link you want to force expiry for.
- In Summary, select Manually expire.
Note: When a payment link is created, it can’t be modified. It’s not possible to extend the validity of a payment link.
