What is an ARN?

The Acquirer Reference Number (ARN) is a unique number assigned to credit card transactions. You can use the ARN to check transaction status (e.g., Capture, Chargeback, Refund). The ARN is given when transactions advance from the merchant’s bank (acquiring bank) to the cardholder’s bank (issuer).

Find the ARN

  1. Log in to your Customer Area.
  2. Go to Transactions > Payments.
  3. Select the PSP Reference of your transaction.
  4. Go to Payment events and find the ARN number under ARN.

Note: If a customer needs to contact their bank regarding a refund, the bank can use the ARN to track it.
Note: ARNs are only generated for Mastercard, Visa, JCB, and Diners.
