Transaction description
The transaction description or else shopper statement, is what your customers see on their account statement after completing a purchase.
For Adyen Acquiring it’s possible to send the transaction description within the payment request, whereas for other acquiring connections or local payment methods, a static statement is required.
What’s written in the transaction description?
For cards, we send by default the following to the schemes: Merchant name / City / Country/region Code.
For example: Adyen Tech Support / Amsterdam / NLD
