Expired captures

An authorization request expires automatically:

After 28 days from day the payment was authorized, for all major global card networks, except Cartes Bancaires.
12 days from the day the payment was authorized for Cartes Bancaires.

An Expired capture:

Is final, you can’t recapture it.
Shows a specific error code: “Capture rejected by card scheme: raw error message from the scheme (capture expired).”
