Why is my payment expired?
Do you have the right user role?
Please check whether you have the following user role:
A payment expires when the payment wasn’t Captured or Canceled within 4 weeks after the authorization.
An Expired status is final, and you can’t capture it anymore. So, make sure to capture your payments within 4 weeks after authorization.
An Expired payment:
- Is final.
- Doesn’t deduct funds.
- Releases the funds automatically back to the shopper. No further actions are needed from your side.
